Currently on tour with Theatre latté da’s wildly successful international tour of Peter Rothstein's All is Calm, the new year sees several significant debuts for Cuban-American tenor Andres Acosta.
Acosta's 2022-2023 season features a number of house debuts including Seattle Opera and Hawaii Opera Theatre. He reprises the roles of Tony (West Side Story) at Teatro Lyric de Cagliari and Timothy Laughlin (Fellow Travelers) at Virginia Opera, and he debuts the role of Javier in the world premier of Ghosts at San Diego Opera.

Ghosts is an evening of three one-act, horror-inspired operas by San Diego composer Nicolas Reveles. Comprised of the works Eden, Dormir and House, San Diego Opera is excited to present the world premiere of these operas. Mr. Acosta appears in Eden and Dormir as Javier.
